History

Our consulting firm was founded by pioneering brothers George M. Michaelides (Civil Engineer) and Polys Michaelides (Architect) in 1933.  Since 1982 the firm has been under the innovative leadership of Saverios Vrahimis (B.A,  MSc Engineering, USA) and continues to provide professional services under the company name of A.F.Modinos & S.A. Vrahimis, Chartered Architects & Engineers.

The rapid technological changes of the past twenty years have seen the firm flourish into a multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering firm with new offices not only in Nicosia but also in Paphos. The extended  wide scope of new work undertaken, confirms the firm's position as one of the major players in the field of architecture and engineering in Cyprus.

Currently the company employs 65 young and dynamic architects, civil engineers, water and sewage engineers, hydraulic specialists, project managers, as well as a strong administrative team.  This dynamic group competently handles the influx of new projects created by the funds made available to Cyprus from the EU, but also new projects in the field of tourism and water engineering.

Today our firm stands confident that it can undertake a wide range of projects and form the best team possible to meet each client's individual needs.
