H&M is in one of the most iconic buildings in Nicosia, originally named Hellenic Mines Tower. The building was originally designed by Thalia and Thanos Thymopoulos with structural engineer Marios Santamas. The building was further extended in height by Raglan Squire and Partners with local office Michaelides Bros Technical Office. After Polys Michaelides death in 1960, Alexander Modinos took over and ever since our office has been responsible for all the modifications and alterations required by the owners. The latest has been the transformation of part of the building to H&M retail store.
